Ames Pet Resort is here to take proper care of your pet, just like you do. Trust our compassionate team to enrich the lives of you and your pets. We are here to provide a safe, sanitary, and nurturing environment. We ensure superior quality of care and comfort for your pet.
You are welcome to bring your pet’s own food. If requested, we will provide food at an additional cost. We make sure your pet gets a minimum of four bathroom breaks, food breaks, bedding, and medication (if prescribed any).
Pets checked out after 12pm will be charged for an extra night of boarding. For a refund on deposits during peak times, we require a three-day notice for all other reservations, we require 24 hours notice of a cancellation.
Requirements
- Proof of vaccination for rabies, distemper, and Bordetella (kennel cough)
- Cats – Proof of vaccination for Rabies and Distemper
Deposit Policies
A 15% deposit is required on ALL boarding reservations, with a 24 hour notice for non peak period and 72 hour notice for peak period and extended stays, to receive a full refund of this deposit. A 35% deposit is required during peak periods of operations as follows: Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, Spring Break, New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. APR requires a 50% deposit on all boarding stays longer than 14 days and a weekly payment plan for all stays booked over 21 days. The deposit is processed at the time of Owner making the reservations and is applied to Owner’s bill as a credit at the time of check-out.
