Daycare
At Ames Pet Resort, your dog enjoys safe, supervised play. Daycare at APR provides exercise and enrichment, leaving them sleepy and worn out so you can take the day off. Our daycare consists of customized play with dogs of similar size, temperament, and play styles to meet your dog’s needs. Play sessions consist of up to 15 supervised dogs per group.

Daycare Requirements
- Pets must be spayed or neutered, unless they are under 6 months old
- Proof of the vaccines rabies, distemper, and Bordetella (kennel cough)
- A temperament assessment that we perform
- Must be at least 6 months old
How Does Your Recurring Reservation Work?
Recurring daycare reservations ensure that your pet’s daycare sessions have been reserved for specified days of every week. You must notify us two days prior in case you need to cancel. We’ll deduct a day’s charge from the package if there’s a no-show and we weren’t notified.
